Hi there - My name is Megan and I'm excited to connect

she/her

I'm a mission-driven communicator, project manager, and environmental advocate dedicated to creating equitable systems, compelling content, and meaningful community engagement.

About Me

Hi, I'm Megan Lehr! I am a young professional based in Brighton, Massachusetts. Most recently, I held the position of Project Manager for uAspire, a national college access and affordability non-profit whose focus is economic mobility. Check out my "About" section for a peek at my resume.

When I'm not working on a student-facing article, editing one of our many financial aid videos, or managing one of our consulting projects, I love to express my creativity. I am a self-taught crocheter and metalsmith, I love genre hopping when I'm reading, and frequently visit local art markets to support my community's artists.

I am extremely passionate about environmental access and conservation. I grew up in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, where I first developed a love for the outdoors through fishing, exploring coastal waterways, and volunteering with local conservation groups. That connection has continued into my adult life through hands-on work in ecological restoration, invasive species management, and freshwater monitoring in the Greater Boston area. I believe everyone should feel a sense of belonging in nature, and I’m committed to environmental justice efforts that protect ecosystems while ensuring equitable access to the outdoors.
